Our Values

Justice in Action’s organizational values grew out of conversations at 81 house meetings across our community, involving more than 725 people.

Organizers identified the 10 values most reflected in what members shared. Team leaders then reviewed and narrowed the list using three questions: Does this set reflect what we heard in house meetings? Does each value contribute something distinct? Would these values help guide Justice in Action’s decisions and actions?

At the Community Problems Assembly in fall 2026, our membership voted on which values to include and formally adopted the final five values that shape our decisions and actions.
